We set out to design a portable lantern that could be easily distributed after disasters, didn't require any additional parts, and would hold up to extreme conditions. Thus the LuminAID light was born. Now, everyone's getting the bright idea: backpackers in Whistler, families in California, boaters in South Carolina, and emergency workers in Nepal.
