Ilado was created in 2015, inspired by the discovery of the Mayan tradition of the maternity Bola. More than a jewel, the Bola allows for the creation of an audible imprint of love and well-being between mothers and their babies. Since then, other rituals from mothers around the world have joined our collection of Bolas: from Swaddling Cocoon to Beneficial Herbal Teas to Worry Eating Plushies.
